Fine antique Thai, 18th/19th century standing figure of Buddha dressed as a king; with arms outstretched in blessing mode; the finely detailed robes and jewelry adorned with cut mirrors representing spreading light throughout the universe; with jeweled accents at the base of each wrist; ribbed allover with flame motifs to front extending to a decorative breast plate held underneath by an elaborate necklace; flames to each shoulder and wearing a multi-tiered crown with flaming unisa; standing atop a multi-tiered elaborately decorated and red lacquered base with raised boarders, circular ringlet to back; H 20 1/4" (Approx.)
