One forth sized boys tachi for festival called itomaki no tachi which means thread wrapped sword, brass overlaid with heavy gilding, the blade with shinogi zukuri with a pattern of undulating waves as the yakiba. Approximately 1900 to 1912; in good original condition with a copper lacquer wooden scabbard and all the mounts in fine condition; With Scabbard L 24" (Approx.)
