Large pair of antique Vietnamese 19th century or earlier inlaid bronze candlesticks, the tubular bodies of ribbed form with large drip plates, the body, drip plates and bases allover inlaid with copper and silver wire depicting ruyi heads against a boarder of key frets with Buddhist symbols rising to the drip tray depicting numerous bats in flight surrounded by Shou characters holding coins, continuing up the stems multiple ruyi and lotus peddles, a boarder of lapis beneath numerous shou characters in various forms, the top terminal with lotus flowers, lilies and other seasonal flowers continuing with two archaistic characters wishing for fortune below a key fret boarder; Each L 11" x H 19" (Approx.)
