Very finely carved and detailed Chinese mutton fat nephrite jade mountain, the front depicting scene of grieving scholars and attendants on mountainous journey crossing a river, sheltered beneath aged pine trees, approaching stair case leading to pavilion on a distant cliff elevated above the cloud line, the verse with a continuation of the scene depicting the scholars arriving at the pavilions and parting ways, late Qing dynasty, accompanied with carved wood stand; With Stand L 4 1/2" x H 7 1/2" (Approx.)
