Fine antique Chinese Qing dynasty carved evenly-colored celadon jade covered vase; body with elaborately detailed panel depicting figure viewing a river scene from a tea pavilion with ducks amidst a mountainous landscape background beneath overhanging pine trees with spreading canopy; reverse scene with figure viewing from a lakeside dwelling with lily pads floating and attendant walking towards dwelling; rocky outcrop in distance with osmanthus trees, clouds above, gnarled pine tree overlapping the dwelling; shoulder mounted with fine gilt bonze archaic form taotie mask and loose rings; neck carved with archaic style acanthus leaves flanked by protruding handles supporting loose rings; lip and cover each with key fret border design; cover finial with carved handles supporting loose rings; all set atop a deep rectangular food, accompanied with finely carved wood stand; overall good condition; Without Stand L 3 3/4" x H 8 1/2" (Approx.)
