Very finely pierced and openwork carved Chinese Mogul mutton fat jade covered vase; the body, food and cover with deeply detailed designs of lotus and other botanicals interspersed with numerous phoenix birds with elaborate plumage amidst a forest of leaves; supported on high foot; the neck with linear bands; four pierced carved terminals each supporting a loose ring; the lip of vase and cover with incised key fret border design; the cover tapered with flat terminal supporting openwork flower finial; overall good codition; H 11 1/2" (Approx.)
