Antique Chinese, Qing dynasty, finely detailed carved mutton fat jade brush washer; detailed waves beginning at concave base spiraling upwards creating vaporous clouds with numerous bats flying throughout some holding strings and tassels all symbolic of longevity terminating at flat top; interior finely hollowed; accompanied by openwork silver and iron cover from similar period, traces of gilt remaining, cabochon finial encircled by silver lapis; overall good condition, age wear, surface wear; L 3 1/2" (Approx.)
