Chinese superbly carved jadeite covered censor of mottled colored ranging from various shades of green to lavender; the body supported on Taotie masked feet with fangs bared extending to claw-like feet, body with large Taotie mask in low relief in archaic design shoulder flank by carved dragon head supporting large loose ring handles, cover similarly incised with archaic design with three lingzhi supporting loose rings, topped with openwork coiled dragon finial; overall fine condition, age wear, surface wear, surface soiling; L 9" x H 8" (Approx.)
