Large and finely carved Chinse Qing dynasty jade mountain; the exterior of the mountain heavily calcified exhibiting natural skin transitioning to the interior exposing a range of colors from white mutton fats to speckled grey and black; the central scene depicting a well carved figure of a standing Lohan holding sutras and staff from which his shoes hang; the mountain carved in very deep relief beneath heavy rockery riding stems of millet atop turbulent waves, each shoulder with gnarled branches of osmanthus and pine trees; L 6" x H 9" (Approx.)
