Very finely carved Chinese chicken bone calcified jade covered vessel; ranging in colors from a light cream to a warm caramel to speckled russet areas; the cover heavily carved in high relief with birds with outspread wings beneath multiple lotus leaf boarder formed in a floral pattern with ringlet supporting loose ring all above a boarder of key frets; the base similarly decorated with key fret rim; the body with raised nodules in typical archaic style, the base of the bowl finished with lotus leaf boarder supported by fluted stem atop lotus leaf circular base, Qing dynasty; H 6 1/4" (Approx.)
