Rare Chinese early Ming Dynasty, Xuande Mark and of the Period, blue and white porcelain dragon dish; the large shallow form painted with a finely detailed, sinuous five-clawed dragon on a ground of crashing waves, encircled by an additional three dragons to the tall walls; the exterior decorated in a pattern of ruyi clouds; surface wear and loss consistent with age; D 12"
