Highly unusual carved stone seated Nepalese figure of a seated Bodhisattva; legs crossed adorned in elaborate robes with patterned boarders in low relief with extensive jewelry, floral earrings and crown, in it's hand a bow and arrow in high relief, seated atop a rectangular plinth; original traces of brightly colored polychrome still remain, Ming dynasty or earlier; chest exhibiting some surface wear consistent with age possibly from water, the neck with possible restoration; H 13" (Approx.)
