Antique, Qing dynasty, Sino-Tibetan gilt copper alloy seated Tara figure beautifully positioned in mudra with legs overhanging base wearing elaborate jewelry including elaborate pointed crown covering finely incised hair draping over shoulder with bright blue pigment remaining finished in high top knot, shoulder supporting lotus stem with pods, atop elaborate lotus base with beaded border raised from lozenge form base with central stem with stylized auxiliary stems leading to lotus design; overall good condition, age wear, surface wear, surface soiling; H 12 1/2" (Approx.)
