Elaborately openwork carved, Chinese spinach jade covered censer; of rare spherical form atop a waisted, fluted support and on a splayed foot; with two wide flaring phoenix-headed handles; the reticulated cover with taotie-like masks, surmounted with a stylized plaque of two dragons contesting a flaming pearl as the finial, with additional foliate flanges to the support; and altogether pending ten loose rings; Provenance: From the Collection of Eugene Iglesias; H: 9 1/2" (approx.); openwork wood stand
