Very finely carved antique jade, 18th century, Turkish sword or knife handle; ranging in color from a calcified creamy white to a celadon green and finishing with russet inclusion; the head of the handle carved with a floral spray and fluted pedals against an elongated back rib finishing with fluted panels with single boarder; 18th century, done in the manner of Persian kard; L 5 1/4" (Approx.)
Provenance: acquired in Istanbul circa 1980
