Antique, Ming dynasty, Sino-Tibetan gilt bronze finely detail seated Bodhisattva figure with crossed legs and hands in mudra adorned with elaborate flowing robes with detail patterned borders, with beatific facial expression and incised tightly curled hair, sitting atop a double lotus base with incised depiction of elephants walking through forest, base terminating in thick rim and original copper cover unopened with incised Varja; overall good condition, age wear, surface wear, surface soiling; H 6 1/2" (Approx.)
