POLISHED NATIVE COPPER
Copper is one of the few metals to occur as an uncompounded mineral, the chemistry of which has probably done as much to advance human culture as any other factor. It was known to some of the oldest civilizations on record, and has a history of use at least 10,000 years old. This striking slab is a specimen of native copper, glittering across a dramatic lime green jasper ground, in an irregular slab with a high polished finish, 14 inches wide.
