Large old Chinese Kangxi-style, Famille Verte and iron red enameled porcelain vase; of wide bulbous form on flared foot; the body with four large figural panels of scholarly scenes, set on a diaper pattern ground and flanked by the Eight Buddhist symbols, with a double border at shoulder; the short waisted neck with clouds, bats, and cranes; a blue leaf mark to base; usual wear and typical frits; H: 14 1/4" (approx.)
