Finely carved Chinese spinach jade tripod censer; the low wide form with flattened rim, two openwork handles of single blossoms framed by foliage, each pending a loose ring, the whole set upon three well-detailed scrolled leaf feet; surmounted by a superbly reticulated, domed wood cover of scrolling lotus and chrysanthemum design, set with an open petaled bud finial, rendered with four handles pending an additional four loose rings; the jade of translucent mottled coloration with attractive natural rivering throughout; W: 8 1/4" (handle to handle)
