Japanese samurai armor; suit of antique, Japanese lacquered metal samurai armor, early Showa Period; including: helmet (kabuto) with wakidate and two horns; half mask (mempo), four-lame throat guard with multi-colored lacing; cuirass (do) pending hanging laced tassets (kusazuri); pair shoulder guards (sode); pair armored sleeves (kote) with hand guards (tekko); pair thigh guards (haidate); and pair shin guards (suneate); with ornate patterned fabric backings and lacing; H: 61" (approx.)
